FIREWORKS ARE NOT CANCELED - THIS IS ONLY A RUMOR - THE FIREWORKS ARE SCHEDULED TO START AT 9:00 PM on Sat.

Voted the Best Small Town in Arizona for 2008 and nestled among the cool pines of the majestic Mogollon Rim, Payson, Arizona comes alive in patriotic colors during its 4th of July Celebration. Whether you are a local Payson resident or a visitor, you will be treated to a show well worth the trip.  Payson is known for its beautiful weather in July and breathtaking sunsets. So bring your chairs, a picnic basket and blanket, or grab some food from one of the vendors that will be on hand and enjoy a night to remember.

6:00 PM the Pro rodeo Scholarship Fund Dance @ Oxbow Saloon with  music by Junction 87. $5 cover charge @ 8 PM. Presented by the Payson Pro Rodeo Committee. Benefit for Scholarship & Breast Cancer Support.

FIREWORKS starting at dark @ Green Valley Park 

Taylor pool will be having its own 4th of July fun. We will be having lifeguard demonstrations, games, prizes, and raffles. Pool hours are 10:00 AM 3:00 PM. Admission is $3.00.

 

Free Shuttle to Green Valley Park

Starting at 5:30 pm, you will be able to park your car at the Payson High School.  A shuttle school bus will pick you up on the north side parking lot (Football Field) and transport you to Green Valley Park.  After the show the buses will return you to your parked car. 

Directions: Take Highway 87 to Longhorn Rd. Go west on Long Horn Road until you get to the Payson High School North Parking Lot (north of the Football Field).
