Whether you are a local Payson resident or a visitor, you will be treated to a show well worth the trip. Payson is known for its beautiful weather in July and breathtaking sunsets. So bring your chairs, a picnic basket and blanket, or grab some food from one of the vendors that will be on hand and enjoy a night to remember.

The Payson Fire Department and Police Department team up again this year with a benefit for Christmas for Kids. Food will be served from noon until 9:00 pm. Activities include:

First Friday on Main Street Block Party

There is a big party going down on Main Street this 4th of July and everyone is invited. Bring your family and come enjoy the old fashioned 4th on Main. Party starts at 4:00 pm. Activities include:

Art and Antique Walk
Classic Car Displays
Magician at Deming History Park (across from the Oxbow)
Food (Kettle Corn, Brats, & Hot Dogs)
Watermelon Eating and Seed Spitting Contest (Presbyterian Church)
Carnival Games (Presbyterian Church)
Several Bands

FIREWORKS SHOW OVER GREEN VALLEY LAKE

Taylor pool will be having its own 4^th of July fun. We will be having lifeguard demonstrations, games, prizes, and raffles. Pool hours are 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Admission is $1.00. All visitors will receive a ticket for a bomb pop from the concession stand.

Wizard Wade Magician Show - Location (Deming History Park - across from the Oxbow Saloon on Main Street). There will be three 45 minute shows starting at 4:15, 5:30, and 6:45 p.m.

Free Shuttle to Green Valley Park

Starting at 5:30 pm, you will be able to park your car at the Payson High School. A shuttle school bus will pick you up on the north side parking lot (Football Field) and transport you to Green Valley Park. After the show the buses will return you to your parked car.

Directions: Take Highway 87 to Longhorn Rd. Go west on Long Horn Road until you get to the Payson High School North Parking Lot (north of the Football Field).
