TOWN OF PAYSON ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE!
Date: Saturday, December 7, 2013
Place: Historic Main Street
Time: 6 PM Rain or shine
This is an annual event when Historic Main Street in Payson transforms into a magical holiday wonderland on the first Saturday of December. Rain or shine, watch the procession of floats, marching bands, music, and of course, Santa Claus himself!
Traditional Holiday Characters - for example: Rudolph, Frosty, Jack Frost, Santa, The Grinch and many more.
Be a part of the Town of Payson's Electric Light Parade.
The entry deadline is November 21, 2013, Entry fee is $25.00.

| Swiss Village Lights & Festivities |

Swiss Village lighting will be on Nov. 24th starting at 5:30 pm. Santa arrives on the firetruck at 6:00 pm. We have a Gingerbread House contest that night. Entries must be taken to Chitwoods in the Swiss Village the day of the 25th. Grand prize winner is 2 adult and 2 child tickets on the Polar Bear Express. Music will be the Christmas reunion of Brooks and Yoder. There will be carolers and watch for the roaming elves! Open house and lots of goodies for all.

An event to benefit Payson Community Kids In partnership with the Town of Payson Fire Dept, Optimist Club, Gerardos Firewood Café, Northern Gila County Firefighters, and the generosity of the rim country residents.

| Spirit of Christmas Musical Production |

The Christmas season is upon us here in Rim Country and one of the largest productions celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, is “The Spirit of Christmas”. This year’s musical pagent will occur this Sunday, December 2nd at the Payson High School Auditorium and will host one of America’s premier trumpet performers, David O’Neill. There will be two performances at 2PM and 6PM and it is absolutely free to the public. The Spirit of Christmas is sponsored by the Payson Christian Ministerial Fellowship and financially supported by many local businesses. One important element is the Payson Area Food Drive and non-perishable canned and boxed food items are needed to sustain families through the winter. If it is within the means of those attending, we ask that you consider supporting this great need. There are tickets available throughout local businesses in Payson, but they are not required. Please join us for this amazing celebration!.
