The 19th Annual Beeline Cruise-In Charity Auto Show for 2012 will be held at the beautiful Green Valley Park off of Old Main Street. Friday activities at Green Valley Park are geared for the car entrants, club members and sponsors and will include car registration, Brats and Dogs, a cruise around town, returning to the park for an evening’s entertainment with music and dancing.
The Car Show on Saturday is open to the public with raffles, a 50-50 drawing, judging of the vehicles, Oldies Music, and items for sale from vendors including a food court. We will also have shuttles available to everyone which will run from the park to participating merchants around town to collect free raffle tickets. These will be brought back to the park and drawn for cash prizes. At the end of the Show we will present trophies and awards.
The car show is open to all who want to participate, however the main parking area is limited to 300 vehicles, with overflow parking for additional vehicles. We hope you can all join us for a great car show with a variety of things to do and see including special events planned with the ladies in mind.
In 2007, we had 55 Show Sponsors who provided $250 each in cash or services. The Sponsor money is used to finance the car show and to pay for such items as Trophies, Car Show T-Shirts, Dash Plaques, food for the Burger Burn and Breakfast, and for other Car Show Expenses. This past year the Car Show generated over $17,000 from the entrants which was set aside and given away to local charities and to the RCCAC Payson High School Scholarship Fund. Car Show profits are not used to finance the Car Show and none of the contributed funds go outside the Rim Country Area.

The Rim Country Classic Auto Club, incorporated, organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of classic automobiles and street rods as well as participating in and supporting civic activities for the betterment of the community. The 2007 Car Show attracted 396 cars, over a thousand visitors and generated an estimated $450,000 in income for local business. We attribute much of our success to the overwhelming support we receive from the Town of Payson, the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Main Street Committee. With their continued support and the support from our sponsors, we expect that the 2010 Car show will do as well or better.
