Place: Chapman Auto Center
This will be an event you won’t want to miss. It is the First Annual Payson Rockband 2 Competition. This event will feature 5-8 bands that will play the game Rockband 2, live on a giant 11x17 jumbotron using Playstation 3. Each band will perform 2 songs and will be judged by 3 celebrity judges.
Each Band will score points through 4 different criteria:
- Highest Score - How well do you play the game.
- Character - How into the performance are you.
- Dress - Are you dressed to fit the part of a rockstar?
- Song Difficulty - Depends on the songs your band chooses to play.
Prizes:
1st Place: $100 cash and tickets to the Saturday 1 PM rodeo performance and will be recognized in the arena during the intermission.
2nd Place: $50
Game system will be provided and there will be 15 songs to choose from. Each band will preform from that list. The list of songs will range from easy to difficult.
